A vacuum valve is a vacuum component used in a vacuum system to isolate (cut off) airflow, regulate airflow, and distribute airflow. A wide variety of vacuum devices (also known as vacuum engineering equipment) are inseparable from vacuum systems. Vacuum valves play an important role in both simple and complex vacuum systems.
Usually, when designing a vacuum system, different types of vacuum valves should be selected according to the requirements of the vacuum device and the characteristics of the vacuum system. For example, the vacuum bleed valve is used to put the vacuum system into the atmosphere. After the vacuum device completes the vacuum operation, to replace the workpiece or take out the sample, the atmosphere must be put into the vacuum chamber, so that there is no pressure difference between the two sides of the vacuum chamber door, and then the door can be opened to replace the workpiece. The needle valve is a vacuum valve that inflates the vacuum system and can adjust the gas flow.
Vacuum valves are often used in vacuum pumping speed measurement, vacuum coating, ion beam etching, controlled thermonuclear reaction devices, and other vacuum systems to provide precisely regulated gas flow to obtain a stable vacuum degree required by the process; high vacuum baffle valve, High vacuum flapper valve, often used on the air inlet of the main air pump to isolate the vacuum pump so that it is not exposed to the atmosphere. The high vacuum butterfly valve can be installed in the vacuum chamber, between the vacuum pipeline and the vacuum pump to connect and isolate (cut off) the airflow. The valve design should be free of air leakage, mechanical, and electrical failures, etc.
